You Know That Moment…

...when you can see a student grasp a concept?  Their eyes light up and open a little wider. This program was intended to allow students of many tech levels to feel excited about what they will learn, and accomplished when they reach the end. It contains built-in scaffolding, and is intended for those who have never encountered coding, as well as those who are looking for the next level.

What is major League hacking?

MLH is a Public Benefit Corporation and the global community for student developers.

Each year, they power more than 200 weekend-long invention competitions that inspire innovation, cultivate communities and teach computer science skills to more than 100,000 students around the world

In addition to hosting hackathons, they partner with organizations to create and facilitate learning workshops that teach in-demand developer skills through a program called MLH Localhost.

Working with partners (like us), they create and distribute authentic learning experiences to their network of global hacker communities.

These are activities-in-a-box that local community leaders can run with complete independence leveraging bleeding edge educational practices such as peer-led instruction, project based learning, and real world applications.
